I am a visual artist who writes, illustrates and encourages others to explore their creative playgrounds. I have a PhD in Art & Design, specialising in playfulness, (AKA Dr Fun) so I have a passion for communicating in a playful, engaging and colourful way. Small with a big imagination, I enjoy seeing the humour in the ordinary, often using objects as props for imagination and connectors between different generations and social groups. I have worked as a journalist for over three decades, but also have a first class BA Hons and MA (Dist) in Illustration. Married with five daughters, I can often be spotted running along the Cotswold canal paths, drawing and drinking cappuccinos.
